From Pisa, follow A11 exit Lucca ( about 20 minutes) then take SS 12 in direction Barga, Garfagnana.
From Rome or Milan, follow A1 exit Firenze Nord for A11. and follow the signs for Castelnuovo di Garfagnana.
Follow through until exit Lucca, follow indication for Garfagnana for about 20 Km, until you reach location of Borgo a Mozzano and continue to travel along the road ( the river is on your right); After about 2 Km pass the bridge on your right side to Calavorno, turn left and go on passing Calavorno, Ghivizzano, Piano di Coreglia and Ponte all’Ania.
Once you pass the town of Ponte all’Ania take the first street on your right direction Filecchio.
On the commune street take the first on the left then follow this for about 400 metres.
